Amorti, explained: how businesses connect their systems to AI agents

Amorti is an agentic connector. It links the systems a business already runs to the AI assistants its customers use, so those assistants give accurate answers and, when the business allows it, help customers book and order. This page walks through how that works and what stays under the business's control.

The problem: assistants guess

More customers now ask an AI assistant before they call, search or visit. Without a direct connection, the assistant can only piece a business together from whatever it finds on the web, and it has no way to act on the customer's behalf.

Without a connector

  • Hours and prices scraped from old listings
  • No idea what's actually available this week
  • "Call the business to book" is the best it can do

With Amorti

  • Services, prices and hours straight from the business
  • Live availability and stock
  • A booking or order request the business confirms

How it works

Amorti doesn't replace anything. It reads from the systems the business already uses and writes confirmed requests back into them.

  1. Connect

The business connects the systems it already uses, such as a point of sale, booking calendar, ecommerce store or accounting system. Nothing is replaced.

  2. Select

The business chooses what AI agents may see and do: which services and products, whether prices and availability are shown, and whether agents may submit bookings or orders.

  3. Authorize

Each AI agent signs in through OAuth before it can use Amorti, and receives only the permissions that were approved.

  4. Serve

Agents read live information and submit requests. The business confirms each booking or order, and confirmed requests are written into its own system.

Example: a customer books a haircut through an AI assistant

  1. The customer asks their assistant for a men's haircut near them on Saturday morning.
  2. The assistant finds the salon in Amorti's directory of connected businesses.
  3. It reads live details: the service, its price and the open Saturday times, straight from the salon's booking system.
  4. It submits a request for 10:00 with the customer's name and contact details. The time is held.
  5. The salon confirms from an email or its Amorti dashboard. The booking is written into its calendar and the customer is told.

Two kinds of agents

Amorti serves two different audiences, and keeps them strictly apart.

Customers' assistants

Finding and buying from the business

  • Search the directory and read business profiles
  • See services, products, prices, hours and availability
  • Submit booking and order requests, which the business confirms
The business's own agents · Enterprise

Working inside the business's ERP

  • Look up customers, vendors, invoices, orders, inventory and financial statements
  • Draft invoices and orders within limits the owner sets
  • Connected only after the owner signs in and chooses the agent's role; larger or riskier actions wait for the owner's approval

Control and security

An agent can only do what the business has switched on, and every transaction passes through the business.

Nothing happens unconfirmed

Bookings and orders from customers' assistants are requests. Nothing is booked or charged until the business confirms.

Signed-in, revocable access

Agents connect with OAuth 2.1 and PKCE. Access is limited to what was approved and can be revoked at any time.

The business decides what's visible

Each service, product and capability can be shown or hidden. Payment stays in the business's own checkout.

Who it is for

Small businesses

Salons, repair shops, studios and local retailers that want assistants to quote their real prices, hours and availability, using the calendar or point of sale they already have. Starter is $499 per month; taking booking requests through AI assistants is part of Professional.

Medium businesses

Retailers and service companies with an ecommerce store or accounting system, who want live stock and prices in front of AI shoppers and orders flowing into their existing tools. Professional covers this at $2,499–$4,999 per month.

Enterprises

Organizations that want their own AI agents to work in their ERP under role-based permissions, owner approval and an audit trail. Enterprise has custom pricing; plans start at $499 per month (see pricing).

Glossary

Agentic connector
Software that sits between a business's existing systems and AI agents, exposing selected information and actions to those agents under the business's control.
Model Context Protocol (MCP)
An open protocol that lets AI assistants discover and call tools and data sources in a standard way. Amorti uses it so any MCP-compatible assistant can reach a business.
AI agent
An AI assistant that can take steps on someone's behalf, such as looking up information or submitting a booking, rather than only answering in text.
OAuth
The standard sign-in and permission flow an AI agent completes before it can use Amorti. It grants specific, revocable access without sharing passwords.
AI visibility
How accurately AI assistants can find and describe a business, including its services, prices and availability.

Questions

Which AI assistants can use Amorti?

Any assistant that supports Model Context Protocol and OAuth sign-in, including Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot. Each one connects through the same Amorti endpoint.

Can an AI agent book or order without the business agreeing?

No. A customer's assistant submits a request. Nothing is booked or charged until the business confirms it, and confirmed requests are written into the business's own system.

Does Amorti take payments?

No. Customers pay through the business's own checkout, for example a payment link from the business's point of sale or accounting system.

Which business systems can be connected?

Square, Google Calendar, Shopify and QuickBooks Online, plus a built-in catalog and hours editor for businesses that don't use those systems. Enterprise ERP connections are available on the Enterprise plan.

How much does Amorti cost?

Starter is $499 per month. Professional, which adds booking and order requests from AI assistants, is $2,499 to $4,999 per month depending on scope. Enterprise, which adds ERP connections for a business’s own AI agents, has custom pricing: contact us.
