Explore the Dashboard

The dashboard shows:

• Statistics: Total episodes, published, in progress, planned
• Recent Episodes: Your 5 most recently updated episodes
• Quick Actions: Create new episodes from the header

Navigation Tabs

Use the 6 main tabs to navigate:

• Dashboard: Overview and stats
• Episodes: Full episode list with search/filter
• Calendar: Visual schedule view
• Production: Recording studio
• Analytics: Charts and metrics
• Platforms: Publishing management

Creating a New Episode

Click the New Episode button in the header or press Ctrl+N

Fill in the episode details:

• Title: Full episode name
• Guest: Historical figure name
• Recording Date: When you'll record
• Duration: Episode length
• Status: Current production stage
• Historical Period: Time context
• Alternative Ending: The "What if...?" scenario
• Key Topics: Comma-separated themes
• Platforms: Where to publish

Search and Filter

Find episodes quickly using powerful search:

• Search Bar: Type to search titles, guests, topics
• Status Filter: Show only specific workflow stages
• Platform Filter: Episodes for specific platforms
• Clear: Reset all filters

Episode Actions

Each episode card has quick action buttons:

• Edit: Modify episode details
• Produce: Jump to recording studio
• View: See all details
• Delete: Remove episode (with confirmation)

Starting a Recording Session

Navigate to the Production tab and select an episode from the dropdown.

Choose your mode:

• Voice Mode: Record audio with your microphone
• Text Mode: Write your podcast script

Recording Audio

In Voice Mode:

1. Click the red record button or press R
2. Allow microphone access when prompted
3. Watch the waveform visualize your audio
4. Use pause/resume as needed
5. Click stop when finished
6. Preview with play button or Space
7. Click save to attach to episode

Audio Editing & Effects

After recording, the editor appears with tools:

• Trim: Cut start/end portions
• Split: Divide into segments
• Fade: Apply fade in/out
• Undo: Revert changes (Ctrl+Z)

Adjust 6 audio effects:

• Volume: Master volume control
• Reverb: Add room ambiance
• Echo: Create echo effects
• Bass Boost: Enhance low frequencies
• Treble: Adjust high frequencies
• Noise Reduction: Minimize background noise

Script Writing with AI

Switch to Text Mode to write your script.

Use AI Assistant to generate:

• Generate Intro: Creates episode introduction
• Generate Questions: Suggests 5 interview questions
• Improve Text: Enhances existing content
• Add Transitions: Inserts smooth transitions

Understanding the Calendar

The Calendar view shows all episodes on their recording dates:

• Color-coded dots: Each status has a unique color
• Today's date: Highlighted with special border
• Navigation: Use arrows or ← → keys
• Today button: Quick jump to current date (T)

Drag & Drop Rescheduling

Reschedule episodes by dragging:

1. Find an episode dot on the calendar
2. Click and hold to start dragging
3. Drag to a new date
4. Release to drop — episode is rescheduled!

Viewing Date Details

Click any calendar day to:

• See all episodes for that date
• View episode details in sidebar
• Quick access to Edit/Produce actions
